Yay implement potions to ruin the game. I'll say no thank you to that.

When were we able to buy a victory in PvP ?

That part is what we're bitching about.

Agreed, perhaps some devs cruise the forums but really there's one person who's partially dedicated to this and it's none other than your personal hero Gail Gray. No offense but her carebearism for PvE has tainted PvP since all those 11 page discussions on how to fix PvP have taken all this time to be heard. Why has it taken so much time to acknowledge this problem ? When I saw the dev team in tombs, I felt uncomfortable but obliged to whine to them in local chat about the grind. I know they play on personal time but it feels like the only way to be heard to the people who can do something. You're right maybe the devs don't have time to browse the forums but they should get someone to do it since the gamers are your revenue. Displease them and they'll simply go to another game.

Again you don't understand that all these problems we're whining and bitching about were adressed a LONG time ago. Personnally I don't mind whether they come now or a little later. Give me a heads up so I don't have to grind like a drone is all I'm saying. However, fanboys who say this whole shebang is about Anet caring for us is just a load of... well you know.

C'mon Sock you tell me some more of WHAT I don't know about, oh wait you just want me to again buy into the fact that in your world YOUR opinion is the only one that counts, my bad.

In the first sentance of your last paragraph you say the issues you bitch about have been addressed a long time ago, if thats true then why are you STILL bitching?

Again your argument is centered around what you wanted to HEAR coming from my statements NOT what they say. I did NOT say that the whole "shebang" is about ANet caring for us, I did say that ANet HAS listened and HAS addressed some of the issues.

See, I happen to understand and have some of the same feelings about "grind" as you, weezer blue and others but I also understand that those are extreme points and are polars to the ones made by certain RP or PvE types. I think ANet sees this as well and are shooting for the middle, the middle wher both sides can live together through compromises.

since the game was released less than 2 months ago and the UAS/R/I/U ranting didnt start instantly the most the ultra hard core could have been complaining is 7 weeks.

in that time they have made elites (one of the biggest rants) so easy to get that there still are complaints

skill points are easier to get and will be further adjusted if needed

they are now getting ready to make the items available in pvp just as you wanted

more in future updates

are you that impatient that you cant give them time to make changes and test them without going GIMMIE IT NOW?

Sounds fun. Can't wait to see female elementalists running around in skin tight leather outfits. =P

I just noticed some contradiction that arose here.

Some people are demanding gold sinks. At the same time, they are complaining about the grind that they will have to endure to use the gold sinks. I don't understand their logic.

Well, the backbone of most roleplaying games is being driven around by a carrot on a stick with EXP and loot. In this case, people are arguing for shorter sticks and more carrots.

I guess it's foolish to get caught up in artificial rewards/replay value after years of roleplaying games, to the point that it's in a lot of people's blood. (Admittedly, I'm guilty of such)

One of my personal favorite suggestions is that we provide more options for pets, such as items you can buy them or even the ability to change their color. Another suggestion is "town clothes," so that when you head into Ascalon City or Lion's Arch you can shake off the dust of combat and don something that is decidedly not armor-like.

These would all be customised to a character (so couldn't be sold on) and could only be bought from NPCs.
